CT Aerial Drone Surveys will work to assist you, the surveyor, with any of

Drone Flights

If your company is interested in utilizing drones to supplement your own surveying business but do not have an employee who has their Part 107 or have your own drone, we will be more than happy to provide you a quote to fly the subject property or project area. CT Aerial Drone Surveying has the ability to provide Drone Photogrammetry or Drone Lidar depending on your needs.

GCP Placement and Locations

Based upon the drone doing the flight and the project area there are many factors in which need to be taken into account in order to maintain the high level of accuracy as required by Surveying Code. CT Aerial Drone Surveys can work with you and your field crews to assure proper GCP placement and locations for desired results based upon equipment.

Image Processing

If the processing of the data is something that you do not currently have an interest in doing, we are more than happy accepting your drone data and processing it into point cloud files and an orthorectified image which can be imported directly into your CAD program.

2D Linework in CAD

Once the drone data has been processed, 2D linework and symbols for all of the soft locations can be extracted from the processed point cloud and ortho image.

Contours in CAD

Once the drone Data has been processed, contours can be extracted from the processed point cloud in the desired area. This can be achieved by creating a "Bare Earth" surface or .Tin file. We will then smooth out contours as well as review and update based upon true ground conditions.

CT Aerial Drone Surveys is not affiliated with any drone manufacture or software provider and can be utilized as a unbiased resource based and provide recommendations based upon our experience and testing.
